A triggered campaign reacts to people one at a time. When someone enters it, RevBridge sends the first message right away and the next ones after the delays you set. It picks the channel and the creative for each send. Use it for welcome series, abandoned carts, post-purchase follow-ups and re-engagement.
Rolling out: this feature is being enabled account by account. If you don’t see it, contact support@revbridge.ai.
Some options on this page (Entry by dynamic audience, sequences with more than one touch, and the Abandoned cart template) are enabled separately. If you don’t see them, your campaign enters people through Webhook / API and sends one message.

Create a triggered campaign

Go to Engagement → Campaigns, click New Campaign and choose Triggered Campaign.
1

Objective

For an abandoned cart, start with Start from a template → Abandoned cart. Choose the Cart event, the Purchase event and the Abandonment window, then click Create audience and fill in. RevBridge creates the audience and fills in the rest of the step.Otherwise, fill in the name, briefing and Conversion Event yourself. In Where the CTA takes each recipient, choose a Fixed link (everyone lands on the same page) or a Dynamic link (a URL taken from a property of the entry event, with a Fallback for when it’s empty). In What the message carries, choose Message or Message + product showcase. The showcase shows the products from the entry event, up to the Max products you set. With the showcase on, every channel links to the product shown.

Entry

Choose where people come from:
  • Dynamic audience: RevBridge watches the audience and starts the campaign for each new member. No integration needed. People already in the audience at launch don’t enter; only people who join afterwards do.
  • Webhook / API: your system sends people to the campaign’s /enter endpoint. The address is created with the campaign.
Static audiences, such as imported lists, can’t be used: nobody new ever joins them, so the campaign would never send.

Trigger & cadence

Add up to six touches. Touch 1 goes out immediately on entry. Each later touch goes out a set number of minutes, hours or days after the previous one. For each touch, pick an Angle (Authority, Scarcity, Reciprocity, Consistency, Social proof, Liking) and an Offer (No offer, Free shipping or a percentage off with a coupon), or use Generate with AI.A person who converts stops receiving the remaining touches. Then set what happens if someone enters again:
  • Resend behavior: Single entry (each person is messaged once, and re-entries are ignored) or Recurring.
  • Re-trigger window: for recurring campaigns, the same person won’t be messaged again within this window.
  • Max sends per recipient (optional): a total cap. Once a person reaches it, they won’t be messaged again, even if they re-enter.
4

Channels & Templates

Pick the channels and templates the campaign can use. RevBridge chooses among them for each send.
5

Budget

Set a Daily budget, or turn on Unlimited.

Review

The Checks list shows what needs fixing before launch. Errors block the launch: a static audience, an audience with no rule, or two touches using the same tactic. Warnings don’t block, but read them, for example:
  • Over-contact risk: recurring with no send cap, so one person could receive many messages. Set Max sends per recipient or widen the window.
  • WhatsApp template has no link button: the link goes into the template’s URL button, so a template with only quick-reply buttons won’t deliver it.
Then review the creatives for each touch and launch.

Follow it live

Open the campaign to see its monitor:
  • People entered, Messages sent, Queued sends and Failed sends.
  • The entry source (Audience entry or Incoming event). Click Source and test to send yourself a test: enter a name and an email or WhatsApp number, then click Send test. In audience mode, a test goes straight to touch 1; later touches follow the real delays.
  • People: everyone who entered, with search and filters by touch, status and channel. Click a person to see their Recipient journey, including the email they got at each touch.
  • Send sequence: results by touch and how sends were split across channels.

Change it while it runs

While the campaign is running or paused, click Edit campaign to change:
  • the Daily budget;
  • the delays between touches (touches already scheduled keep their timing);
  • Sending priority: More conversions (prioritize conversion volume) or Higher return (prioritize return relative to sending cost).
You can also pause, resume or stop the campaign from the monitor. See Campaigns for what each status means.
