A performance campaign reaches your audience in rounds over a period you set. The AI writes several versions of each message inside your templates. After each round, RevBridge moves more of the next sends toward the versions and channels that bring results. Use it for retention, cross-sell, win-back and cart recovery. You can also start it from one sentence. See Create a campaign with AI.

Create a performance campaign

Go to Engagement → Campaigns, click New Campaign and choose Performance Campaign.

Objective

Under Tell us about this campaign:
  • Campaign Name and Landing Page, the page your messages link to. Both are required.
  • Campaign Briefing: describe the offer, the audience and the reason to act now. Include conditions, deadlines and anything the messages must say. You don’t need to describe your brand: your brand identity is already taken into account.
  • Link tracking: the UTMs added to your links. utm_campaign is filled in from the name, and utm_medium is added per channel. Click Edit parameters to change them or add your own.
  • Optimization Goal: Increase Conversions, Boost Engagement, Customer Retention, Reactivate Dormant Users, Upsell & Cross-sell, or Improve Satisfaction.
  • Conversion Event: the action that defines success, such as a purchase. Messages that lead to it are prioritized.

Audience

Pick an audience from your library, or click Create audience to build one in a side panel without leaving the campaign. The new audience comes back selected. See Audiences.

Channels & Templates

Under Delivery channels, pick one or more channels: Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS where it’s enabled. A channel that isn’t set up yet is marked “not setup”; set it up in Settings → Channels. Then pick the Templates the AI uses as a base:
  • Email and WhatsApp need at least one template each. If the audience has more than 1,000 people, WhatsApp needs at least 2 templates, to vary the messages and protect your number’s reputation.
  • RCS: a template is optional. Without one, the AI writes text messages.
  • SMS needs no template. The AI writes the texts and you review them before anything is sent.
For email, you can also choose the sender for this campaign.
4

Budget & Schedule

  • Campaign timeline: when the campaign starts and when it stops.
  • How sends are spread across the timeline: Interval (every X minutes or hours), Daily (once a day, at a time you set) or Distributed (a number of rounds over a number of days). You can also set an Execution limit, the most times the campaign runs.
  • Campaign budget: a Daily budget, the most it spends per day, or Unlimited. RevBridge suggests a daily budget that covers a full day of sends.

Review

Check everything on Review & Launch.
When you finish the wizard, RevBridge writes the creatives. Review them, reject anything that doesn’t fit, and click Launch Campaign.
While your own email domain isn’t set up, campaigns use the RevBridge test domain, limited to 5,000 emails per day. See Email.

While it runs

Each round reaches the audience across the channels you picked. Over time:
  • the message versions that bring opens, clicks and your conversion event get more of the sends, and the weaker ones get less;
  • the split between channels moves toward the ones that work best for this campaign.
You can follow this in Analytics, under Creative Optimization and Channel Allocation. To learn more, see How RevBridge decides. While the campaign is running or paused, you can change its name and daily budget, and edit its creatives. See Campaigns.
Ask the assistant. With the RevBridge MCP connected, ask: “Draft a win-back campaign for customers who haven’t purchased in 90 days”. It prepares the campaign; you review and launch it in the app.
